After a couple of lights scrapes on my new car alloys and realising I am one of the millions of Britain's abysmal drivers I invested in a set of these, it's to early to assess the long term protection these give but went on surprisingly easy (my DIY skills are on par with driving ability) and they look fairly good. For once I actually read the instructions as well!

Don't think they will protect your wheels. They will rip off if you touch a kerb. I only bought a set until I refurb scuffs on rims. You really must follow instructions....or you will hear the clatter of them flying off. They stick great on well prepared original paint alloys or steel rims. Remember, they will get ripped off when you get new tyres
