Takes a little getting used to doing the first wheel. I was concerned having fitted the rim, there would be an air leak between the tyre and the rim itself, and there was a leak where the two rim ends meet. I pulled out both ends and applied a compound gasket seal using a tube of it in a gun such as you would use to apply mastic around a bath. That took care of the leak. The glue supplied cured very quickly and stopped me gluing the two ends, so, I didn't use it but only to affix the covering cap to conceal the joint. On the second tyre, I first applied the gasket seal in the gap between the rim and the tyre all around the circumference. It acts as a lubricant, so I never used soapy liquid. This worked well. I did not use the glue but only for the capping. No leaks. Looks a treat !! Best rims yet. I've tried the others. They come off or they expand and come away. I like Alloygaitors as there's little chance they will detach as they are sunk inside the alloy rim. The second tyre took me around 30 mins. I took it off the car and placed it on a work bench - much better to work with.

Extremely recommend. I am a driving instructor and brought this to protect my alloys as they can get some abuse from learner drivers and I can safely safe they have done the job well. They have protect my alloys from all damage.

Love the look of these but unable to retain tyre pressure on run flat tyres. Was a faff to fit but we got there. Description is misleading and professional fitting and bead seal is recommended for run flats. Would not refund me as I had fitted them

Professional fitted but after a few hundred miles the front worked loose, tried a few attempts with no joy, same on the back after 500 miles. I run 255/45r18 on a T5. I wouldn’t recommend. Clicked return but was given less than 24 hours to get them removed and sent back, which wasn’t possible being a bank holiday! Update 18/04, company engaged following feedback and offered replacement or refund. Good customer service and appreciate the customer engagement.

Do not go up and down kerbs with this product as it pinches tyre on way down and cuts sidewall of tyre also they come out of rim, things to be wary of. They do look good on wheels, would consider buying again tho’ trial and error has been expensive. New tyres on front at a cost of £165 each.

I bought a complete set of these units in black in January 2020, and when fitted they did a tremendous job of protecting my newly refurbished wheel. They did just what it stated on the box !!! Just prior to my MOT this January I purchased new tyres. Unfortunately the fitter made a right mess of the first wheel and ruined the AlloyGator. He took more care and followed the instructions on how to replace tyres safely as provided by Alloygator and passed to him by me. I approached Alloygator and told them of my problem. They have provided a single replacement unit to me, free of charge and supplied the jointing slips as well !! Now that is what I call after sales custom care and support. Thank you for your support and service, I shall continue to recommend them to my friends, one of who has already fitted his car with them. He was always "kerbing" his wheels, They still look great. Bon produit, protège bien les jantes. C’est la 2eme fois que j'achète ce produit. La mise en œuvre n'est pas très compliquée mais nécessite tout de même de bien regarder une ou des vidéos sous Youtube (la notice est cependant bien faite). Je recommande de démonter les roues pour installer la protection, histoire de ne pas fausser le parallélisme avec le maillet.
